Meet Our Staff
Dr. Erin Quigley
DVM, Practice Owner
Dr. Quigley is the practice owner and lead veterinarian at Animal Medical Center of Wentzville. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Missouri State in 1998. She grew up in Florissant, Mo and moved to St. Charles County after veterinary school. She previously worked as a veterinarian in Troy and Florissant before taking over the clinic in Wentzville at it’s current location in 2010.
Dr. Quigley has been working in the veterinary field for 17 years. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is not only helping the animals, but building relationships with her clients and their pets for a lifetime. She enjoys working with rescues to help abandoned animals find homes. Dr. Quigley has taken her passion for educating pet owners on how to keep their pets healthy for a long life and has written articles for a local pet magazine called Metropet. Dr. Quigley is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association, and the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce. She has a 15 year old cat named Murphy who can be found roaming the clinic, a young boxer named Finnegan, and a horse named Romeo that lives on her husband’s family farm.
Dr. Quigley is married with two young and adorable kids (Reid & Edy). Her husband Ryan helps her with the clinic, performing management/business tasks. When Dr. Quigley has free time she likes to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time outdoors when the weather is nice. Her hobbies include riding horses and bicycling with her husband. She likes to travel when she can. She is a big St. Louis Cardinals fan and Mizzou football fan.

Dr. Sara Burroughs
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Sara Burroughs joined Animal Medical Center in March 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rockhurst University in Kansas City and then went on to graduate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and being a veterinarian has been a life-long dream for her. She enjoys helping animals and educating clients on the various aspects of disease prevention.
She grew up in Wichita, Kansas in a very large extended family. She is one of 49 grandchildren and is so far the only veterinarian of them. Prior to moving to the area, she lived and worked in both Kansas City and Huntley, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. She and her husband have three beautiful children: Hannah, Addison, and Carson. Her hobbies include traveling and spending time with her family.
Dr. Burroughs is at the hospital on Wednesdays. Stop by and meet her!
Dr. Jon Nauss
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Nauss started out as a part-time veterinarian at Animal Medical Center of Wentzville in the Fall of 2014, before going full-time in February of 2015. Prior to working with us, he spent four years as a veterinarian for the United States Army supporting dogs and missions all over the world. He graduated from Benedictine College in 2005 and earned his doctorate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
Dr. Nauss is happily married to his wife, Havalyn and his daughters, Aurora and Zinnia, love meeting all the new puppies and kitties at dad’s work. Dr. Nauss enjoys spending his free time with his three lovely ladies.
Dr. Nauss is compassionate about providing exceptional surgical and medical care to patients. He looks forward to meeting you and your pet!
Dr. Lauren Edwards
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Lauren Edwards officially joined Animal Medical Center as a full-time veterinarian in May 2016, after completing her preceptorship with us (she was too awesome for us to let her get away). She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2012 and earned her doctorate from the College of Veterinary Medicine there as well.
Dr. Edwards is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Associations. She is dedicated to being your pet’s advocate and having the animal’s best interest in mind.
Dr. Edwards grew up in Elsberry and currently resides in Wentzville with her husband, Steven, their two Australian Shepherds, Taffy & Roxy, and their cat, Koshka. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with family and friends and taking her pups to the dog park.
RVT / Technician Supervisor
Sarah became a registered veterinary technician in 2010. She has three dogs, fourteen chickens, two horses, and one husband! In her free time she enjoys hunting and the outdoors.
Ashley is a full time nurse at AMC. She graduated from Sanford Brown with her Veterinary Technician degree in 2013 and joined the team in May of 2013.
She lives with her family in O’Fallon, Missouri along with her Saint Bernard Bentley. Her hobbies include; barbeques with family and friends and hanging out at the pool.
The favorite part of her job is speaking with clients to keep their pets healthy and assisting the doctors in surgery.
Trichia is one of our full-time nurses. She is a graduate of Hickey College and earned her Veterinary Technician degree in 2012. She officially joined our team in January 2013 after completing her externship with Animal Medical Center of Wentzville.
She lives with her family and her two mixed breed dogs Roscoe and Sparky. Her hobbies include four-wheeling with her boyfriend and going on camping/float-trips in the summer.
Her favorite veterinary medicine interest is radiology.
Nicki has been working in the veterinary field for over 16 years and recently joined Animal Medical Center.
She has been happily married for over 13 years and together is a proud parent to two amazing kids. Her family has their own little zoo in their house that includes; four dogs, four cats, two chinchillas and two sugar gliders.
Michaela is currently a senior in High School. She plans to attend college in the fall of 2015, and study Animal Science, with plans to continue her education and become a Veterinarian.
She currently has four small crazy dogs and two cats which she considers ninjas. She is very active in school including, Student Body President, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, and Volleyball.
When not working or doing something school related, she spends her time volunteering at the St. Louis Zoo, hanging out with friends, or relaxing at home with her latest book.
Tina has been grooming dogs for over ten years. She and her husband have been together for ten years and are expecting their first child in April 2015. They have two Australian Shepherds named Primrose and Paris and two cats named Homer and Marge.
She is currently studying accounting at Maryville University.
Amy has been a part of the veterinary field for the majority of her life. She has recently joined Animal Medical Center and is excited to be a part of this amazing team. Excellent customer service has always been her goal, as well as interacting with clients and their pets every day.
She has been married for over twenty years to her high school sweetheart and has two daughters. Their family pets include; three cats and three dogs. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching football, and spending time with family.
